Reinvention Retreat - A Week of Purpose and Play
Seekers seeking other seekers for real connection, shared knowledge, and creative curiosity. Join us for a week-long facilitated retreat for anyone seeking "something even better". What would personal or professional reinvention look like for you?
Reinvention: the action or process through which something is changed so much that it appears to be entirely new.
Expect a compelling learning experience, interactive activities, small group discussions, and one-on-one conversations and coaching.
Overview
We all have enormous gifts and potential that lie dormant until activated. We often doubt and wonder who we are to step forward. We may hide who we really are or play small. Together, let's explore what's next.
Compelling facilitation designed to enable folks to wrestle with topics of relevance to them in new and nuanced ways and incorporate diverse voices and perspectives into the conversation. Experienced facilitators inspired and/or trained by Brené Brown, Amy Edmundson, Nadya Zhexembayeva, Tim Clark, David Emerald, and Donna Zajonc, will guide learning experiences and practice designed for purpose and play.
We'll work together, in smaller groups, and one-on-one. Expect to emerge feeling supported, deeply connected, and having crafted mini-action plans. We'll reconnect virtually after the retreat to explore challenges and celebrate outcomes.
What to expect:
- Connection (with self and others), candor, curiosity, community, and FUN!
- A seven-day, seven-night workshop at The Hermitage. Our group will have exclusive use of the property and grounds.
- All meals, a Welcome Reception on Saturday night, and seven nights lodging.
- Coming together each morning to learn tools and skills for reinvention. Choose from exercises and creativity prompts to get your reinvention juices flowing.
- Activities each day to warm the soul, stretch the body, and delight the senses while exploring the island and discovering the magic of Nevis and her people.
- An afternoon's sailing and snorkeling trip to a private swimming location.
- Transportation to and from retreat activities.
- Relaxing in swinging hammocks and on open-air porches.
- Dinner discussions of the day's adventures.
- MOST importantly - flexibility and spaciousness. Nothing is mandatory. Do only what delights, replenishes, or intrigues you!
- Pre-retreat:
- 30-minute introductory call with Chris
- Group Zoom to talk about all the details: what to pack, what to wear, weather, phone connectivity, WhatsApp, and photo sharing, etc.
- Post retreat: 1:1 individual coaching session to support integration and application.
The venue
The Hermitage is a small, boutique inn on the island of Nevis, West Indies, owned and operated by the Lupinacci family since 1970. Described by The New York Times as “the nearest thing to Eden …” in a tranquil, historic, and charm-filled setting, The Hermitage celebrates West Indian culture and tradition and is renowned for its restaurant which offers a fine-dining experience celebrating a Caribbean-infused menu.
The best flight options are flying into St Kitts (SKB) and Hermitage will arrange a taxi to greet you at the airport and take you to Reggae Beach for the 5 min water taxi ride to Nevis. Another taxi will be waiting to whisk you to the Hermitage. Once you have your flights, send us your itinerary.

Feedback
Fabulous experience! Chris is an awesome facilitator and designed high levels of engagement and interaction. It was so helpful to exchange and practice the models that we learned. We had plenty of time to dig in. -- Monica K.
I loved having the ability to connect on a personal level. Our shared vulnerability made the constructive feedback and diverse viewpoints so much richer. Chris set expectations but was so kind and curious. -- Maria D.
Great content, great energy, great opportunities to connect in small groups. Got to mix with different people, which was so powerful! At the same time, I so appreciated the time and space to disconnect, to reflect, and drill down. -- Erin D.
